It has been observed on many occasions that Captain MacDonald "Hardtack"Furlow is a difficult man to deal with. His somewhat abrasive personality and direct behavior has resulted in having made many enemies; personal, political and supernatural. However, those very traits have also resulted in making a few very powerful allies. In other words, he actually has friends, not many friends in fact but they are brave and have guns. Big guns, little guns, guns with special ammunition and well you get the picture. And well, technically, Countess Terra Eliza Dupres does not always have a gun. And when she does, its usually just a little gun...and she really is just a terrible shot. But then again she always has her tools and that makes her even more dangerous.
